Q: How am I billed for this service?
A: First State Trust Company does not charge clients to send funds via the ACH Express service.
Q: When is the money for the payment drawn from my bank account?
A: The funds for the payment are debited from your account on the scheduled payment date. Please keep in mind that you should always have funds available to cover the payment on that date.
Q: How can I confirm that a payment has been made?
A: You can check to see if the funds have been drawn from your bank account, or you can logon to your First State Trust Company account to confirm the funds have been deposited as you indicated (account and payment date).
Q: How do I cancel this payment service?
A: To cancel you need to contact our customer service team. Click the “Contact Us” hyperlink on the web page for contact information details.
Q: How do I access the site?
A: Enter your reference number and re-enter it a second time in the appropriate field and click Pay Now.
Q: How do I complete a One-Time payment
A: Complete the following Mandatory fields (unless noted as Optional)
· On the first screen- Welcome to ACH Express
o Enter your FSTC 8-digit account number and then re-enter the number to confirm it is entered correctly
o Click the I’m not a robot box and then click One-Time Payment box
· On the second screen- Home
o Enter your name in the ‘Client Name’ field
o Enter your telephone number in “Phone” field and select type in the drop down
o Enter your email address in ‘Email’ field
o The Address fields are Optional and can be left blank if you choose not to complete
o Enter the amount you wish to pay in the ‘Payment Amount’ field
§ Please be sure to double check the Payment Amount
o Select appropriate choice in drop down box for Payment Code
§ Add any message by clicking on the pen and paper icon, if applicable
o Click ‘Add a Payment Method’ and follow the prompts to add bank account information
o Enter the Pay Date- the default is today’s date
o Click ‘Continue to Payment’
· On the next screen- Verify Payment
o Verify all information and update if necessary
o Click Cancel to go to the previous screen
o Click ‘Make Payment’ – by clicking you also agree to the terms and conditions
o A confirmation screen will display at which point you can Log Out, Return to Home, or Enroll With Your Current Information
o The confirmation will also be emailed to you. You may print the confirmation page as well
o If Enroll With Your Current Information is selected, you will be taken to the Account Setup process
Q: What are the payment cut-off times?
A: When you enter the payment details you also select the Pay Date for the debit. Payments submitted for today and confirmed before 7:00 PM CT will be posted today. Payments confirmed after 7:00 PM CT will be posted the next business day. This info is provided in detail on the Verify Payment screen before clicking Make Payment.
