A: There is no cost for using this payment site.
Q: When is the money for the payment drawn from my bank account?
A: The funds for the payment are debited from your account on the scheduled payment date. Keep in mind that you should always have funds available to cover the payment on that date.
Q: How can I confirm that a payment has been made?
A: You can check to see if the funds have been drawn from your bank account, or you can call the customer care department to see if they received and credited the payment.
Q: How do I cancel this payment service?
A: To cancel you need to contact our customer care department. Click the “Contact Us” hyperlink on the web page for contact information.
Q: How do I access the site?
A: Enter your Payee Name and re-enter it a second time in the appropriate field and click Pay Now. If you are making a payment to the Connecticut Education Association (CEA) your payee name will be your local name if paying CEA/NEA dues; use your payee name for other CEA payments. If you are making a payment to the Connecticut Education Foundation (CEF) please use your Individual, Company, or Local Name in this field.
Q: What do I complete on the Home page?
· Enter your name in the ‘Payee Name’ field
· Enter your telephone number in ‘Phone’
· Enter you email address in ‘Email’
· Enter the amount you wish to pay in the ‘Payment Amount’ field
· Select appropriate choice in Payment Description drop down box
o Any payments made to CEA should utilize one of the descriptions starting with CEA
o Any payments made to CEF should utilize one of the descriptions starting with CEF
o Add any message by clicking on the pencil and paper icon, if applicable
· To add a Payment Method, click ‘Enter’ and follow the prompts to add account information
· Use the Additional Information box below the Payment Method and Pay Date to provide us any additional information about how you wish your payment to be applied (maximum 20 characters)
· Select the appropriate choice to receive your payment from the FDI Code drop-down
o Payments for CEA should be directed to CE Association
o Payments for CEF should be directed to CE Foundation
· Click ‘Continue to Payment’
· On the next screen, verify all information and click to agree to the terms and conditions
· Click ‘Make Payment’
· A confirmation screen will display, at which point you can log out
· The confirmation will also be emailed to you
